Dr. Tatiana Chalkidou is the Department Head of Tourism, Hospitality, and Sport, at the DEREE – The American College of Greece. She holds a BSc in Physical Education and Sport Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Leicester (UK), an MSc in HRM/HRD from the University of Leicester (UK), and a Ph.D. in Health, Leisure and Human Performance from Oklahoma State University (USA). She has a dual appointment following her working experience within the sport, recreation, and tourism industry in Greece and her teaching includes courses like Introduction to Sport Management, Social Issues in Sports, Sports Operations and Facilities Management, and Sport Governance, Policy, and Legal Issues, along with Event Management in T&H, Public Relations and Crisis Management in T&H, and Managing Service Quality and HRM in Tourism. Her research interests include sports management, sport governance, and sport tourism.
