Dr. P. Alvanos is the President of the Board of “Aetoi Thessalonikis” since the organisation was found in 2006. He is a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since 2017, he holds a PHD degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in education. He has been the project manager and/or researcher of more than 10 EU projects, mainly in Erasmus+ sports sector. He has served the board of the National Athletic Federation for People with Disabilities (EAOM) from 2012 until 2021 and in 2021 he was elected to the board of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee. From 2012 to 2016 he was assigned by EAOM to be responsible person for the national sports and athletes with cerebral palsy and from 2016 to 2021 for athletes with Intellectual disabilities. Since 2021 he is member of the torch relay committee of the Olympic flame in Hellenic Paralympic Committee.
